Here's what each boy is doing these days:
Sam
- Learning a million new words a day
- If I ask him if he wants to eat or take a bath, his answer is always an enthusiastically yelled, "Yes ma'am!" (He learned it from his brother)
- He has this super cute way of saying our names when he's put out with us. I can't mimic it through typing but trust me, it's adorable.
- He is pretty much attached to my hip as much as possible
- His first sentence has been "Back up, Jack!" Poor dog.
- He loves his big brother so much and constantly follows him around.
- He uses the potty some. Crazy, right? Jeremy let him try one day and now whenever he sees the toilet, he runs over and tries to take off his clothes, then uses it.
- He is LOUD. SO LOUD. All. The. Time.
- Has (for some unknown reason) started calling everyone Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy and I are not exempt. We often hear "Mr. Daddy" or "Mrs. Mommy." Silly kid.
- He is very proud of Sammy. Just tonight at a playground, he was telling the bigger kids, "This is my baby brother. Look! There's my baby brother!"
- He has started to read short words. He can sound out many basic words and has begun to recognize some sight words.
- He tries to write his name sometimes. Granted, most people couldn't make heads or tails of it, but you can pick out some of the letters.
- He is getting so big so quickly. It's exciting and heartbreaking.
